1. To maintain different species of livestock and poultry for teaching, training and On Farm Research by university Scientists and PG students.
2. To impart quality teaching and hands on training in rearing of different species of livestock and poultry.

VISION OF THE DEPARTMENT

1. To create state of the art modern livestock farm facilities for students’ teaching and entrepreneurial trainings.
2. To establish Central Animal House facility for conducting research.
